It’s a perfect hangout place for college friends, and so for quick family outings. One can pack lunch and move out on a breezy evening and sit there and wonder how amazing the architectural sense of our ancestors was!

Located inside the sprawling greenery of Hauz Khas Village, Firoz Shah Tughlaq Tomb is a simple yet aesthetically 15 foot structure built as a typical Tughlaq building. The walls of tomb are made from ashlar walls which are finished with lime plaster and there are arched entrances along with an octagonal drum and a shallow dome as well. It has 4 unmarked graves, 3 made of marble and one is built out of plaster and rubber. There are a number of chattris, domed structures which are supported by pillars that house tombs of religious teachers and saints who used to live and teach there.
